AWP Panels, Plural POV Workshop and Best Small Fictions Reading

I put a call on twitter for anyone who might be interested in doing a panel for AWP and wow did you all answer it! I have a list of people interested in rejections as well as flash. It’s looking like we night need to split them out to different focuses, especially the flash one, but that’s okay! I think we need more flash representation at AWP, so the more the merrier. If you replied to my post, please DM me your email or email me at melissallanesbrownlee@gmail.com.

Also, I have spaces left in my Plural POV workshop. Currently, there are 7 spots taken (one of them free), so there is at least 1 free spot left (no questions asked). Join me and let’s explore plural POV in flash and micros!

Finally, I am so honored to be participating in Myna Chang’s wonderfully hosted Drop the Mic(ro) series for Best Small Fictions. Readers include: Sara Hills, Tommy Dean, Sarah Freligh, Francine Witte, Patricia Q. Bidar, Electra Rhodes, Melissa Llanes Brownlee, Sara Siddiqui Chansarkar, Sean Ennis, C.J. Erick, and Kathy Fish! What a lineup!

Register for the Saturday, April 27, 10 am (US Eastern) Best Small Fictions reading HERE!!

And if you can’t make mine, there’s another one on Sunday, April 28, 10am (US Eastern) so register HERE for that one! The lineup for this reading includes Dustin M. Hoffman, Valerie Bacharach, Fiona J. Mackintosh, Malvika Jolly, Matt Goldberg, J. J. Peńa, Kim Parko, and Pat Foran.

This weekend I hope to be enjoying some time under the blossoming cherry trees. Sending light, love and creativity as always!
