So happy to receive my contributor’s copy of What Whispers Back: Spinning Hawaiʻi’s Spooky Tales from Bess Press in the mail last night. It’s so pretty!

13 firsthand accounts of the unexplained from the Spooky Tales archives, in conversation with 13 new works of uncanny fiction they inspired.

I was asked to participate in this wonderful anthology earlier this year and I was paired with a spooky tale about the Keahole Airport on the Kona side of the Big Island (Now called Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport).

I will be honest this is one of the only pieces I have written this year and I was grateful for the inspiration.
