Hard Skin 3rd Book Birthday, New Micro at Switch, Literary Namjooning, and Flash 405 Contest

So… I totally spaced that it was Hard Skin’s third birthday last week so I didn’t put it in last week’s talk story. I still can’t believe it’s been three years since my first collection came out… and it took five years to get published. That’s a long damn time.

I think time is like a weird thing for flash writers. We can usually write something and get it published in a much shorter time than short story writers and definitely in a shorter time than those who write longer books… like… GASP… novels….

So happy book birthday to Hard Skin!

I also have a new micro up at Switch A Magazine of Microfiction - if you haven’t had a chance I hope you check it out - Like Oil and Water.

Finally, please consider sending something to Literary Namjooning - our deadline is July 3. Also, if you have the means, I hope you enter Exposition Review’s Flash 405 contest, which I am judging!

I hope that you are all well and staying safe out there. Sending light, love and creativity!
