Celebrating My Pushcart Prize and Best Microfiction Noms and Not Writing

I am so happy to have received a Pushcart Prize Nomination from Claudine, A Literary Magazine! If you missed it, I hope you read “The day auntie makes you sort the pakalolo into baggies before the Mormons come over for the family home visit.“

I am also grateful to receive a Best Microfiction nomination from Pithead Chapel for “Mission Boys Are So Hot.”

I also want to talk a little about the fact that I haven’t written anything new in a few months… and you know what? That’s okay. I have had a lot on my plate and I know that eventually I will write. That’s me convincing myself if you haven’t noticed lol
