Help Me Get To AWP ‘25 In LA!
If you are new to my site or me, Aloha! I’m Melissa! I’m a native Hawai’ian living in Japan, and I write a lot of flash and micros. E komo mai! The AWP (Association of Writers and Writing Programs) Conference for 2025 is in LA, and this is the first year since 2008 that I am able to get off from work to go. I am hoping that you, my wonderful writing community, will help me get there!

Workshops
May 18, 2024: Containing Multitudes: Up Your POV Game with Crow Collective! This workshop will be available to book starting April 1, 2024. Please check the booking site for the price. It will be in CAD as the host lives in Canada. (Sold Out!)
May 25, 2024 (8pm GMT): Tea & Words, Mocktails & Musings with me on Zoom! Join me for writing, friends, and our favorite hot drink on a Saturday morning! Pay what you can and help me get to AWP. Some Extra stuff
At the moment, I am offering “pay what you want” for flash feedback as well as some already scheduled workshops with more to come (which will be pay what you want as well) as I figure out what to teach and how to schedule them via google calendar.
